Radio waves do not travel the same distance in all directions. - Have a blueprint or floor plan(s) of the areas you want the wireless network to cover. We will look at your plans and identify major building obstacles such as walls, halls, elevators and floors that will block radio signals. Also note where your users will be located -- and where they won't -- to determine coverage areas.
- Our engineer will determine where AP's can be located based on power and cabling that can be ran to connect AP to the rest of the network.
- We will test the area to determine the number and locations of APs needed for your overall coverage. BlackBar will then provide you with a site survey report that the wiring contractor can use to mount the AP's, antennas and install the network wiring.
